MAP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

To help improve emergency preparedness in your area, please consider participating in the Map Your Neighborhood program. Educational videos are available online, and printed handouts are available from TGW upon request.

Earthquake & Emergency Preparedness

Did you know that during the Loma Prieta Earthquake, the 60,000-gallon tank at the Norman yard jumped approximately two feet, and a 12-inch steel pipe broke in half? Members were without water service for approximately three days.

TGW conducts periodic emergency response training sessions, typically held near the anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earthquake, for Board members and designated emergency responders.

TGW is registered with the American Red Cross and CalWARN to support emergency coordination and response efforts.

Emergency Response Program

TGW maintains an extensive emergency response program designed to support approximately five miles of pipeline infrastructure. The Emergency Response Plan is available upon request.
