July 2026 - June 2027 Water Rate Sheet
In accordance with the fiduciary responsibility stated in the bylaws (section 11.03). The TGW Board of Directors have reviewed the water rates and determined another increase is required to keep up with the continued inflation. This allows TGW to operate without outside funding or loans. Starting July 1, 2024 the Service Charge will increase $2.00 and the Water Usage Tiers will increase between $0.50-$1.00. Please see the below rates:
CHARGE INFORMATION
TGW billing consists of two charges:
1) Service Charge
The Service Charge is applied during each billing cycle to cover the cost of having water service available and ready for use. This is a fixed charge based on the size of your water connection meter. The rate helps support TGW’s ongoing operating expenses, as well as capital reserves used to maintain, repair, and improve the water system infrastructure.
2) Water Volume Charge
The Water Volume Charge is applied during each billing cycle based on the amount of water used by each connection. This charge reflects actual water consumption as measured by your meter.
CONVERSION
Your water bill is calculated in Units, while your water meter reading is measured in Cubic Feet.
One cubic foot of water equals 7.48 gallons. The conversion table below shows how meter usage is converted into the Units used for billing:
1 Unit = 100 Cubic Feet = 748 Gallons
